Hear from national, state-level, and local experts about the key role health centers play in testing and treating HCV. Discussion will include an analysis of policy changes to HCV treatment standards in Pennsylvania as a response to the opioid epidemic, and participants will learn best practices for onboarding universal screening practices in their health center from Whittier Street Health Center in Boston, MA.

Hepatitis Awareness Month Webinar Series, Part 3

Panelists will discuss the response by health centers to the opioid epidemic, as well as the challenges that limited resources for HCV programming present to health centers. This will include a cost-benefit analysis of HCV programming at health centers in Philadelphia, and strategies for integrating behavioral health practice into HCV programming for those affected by opioid use.
