Our upcoming Town Hall will be focused on the hepatitis C epidemic in Kensington!
Stay tuned for more information via our mailing list or this RSVP form.
In December 2018, HepCAP members convened and asked ourselves about needs and gaps in hepatitis C services and awareness throughout different regions of the city. Our preliminary discussions found that Philadelphia is home to passionate providers, outreach workers, local politicians and activists who are working to save lives, reduce harm, and improve health services. However, different parts of the city have different landscapes of hepatitis C services. We want to gather in the same room to learn from hepatitis C champions and allies, provide information on the burden of hepatitis C and available resources, and to empower and galvanize people to spread the message to their communities.
Our first three Town Halls took place in South Philly, West Philly and North Philly from February to June 2019. View our ReCAPs here for pictures and takeaways!
Over the next few months, we will also be holding a Town Hall in Kensington. If you live and/or work in another part of the city and plan to attend its corresponding Town Hall, please indicate which meeting you’ll attend in the dropdown menu below.
